Alright campers… grab your machetes and pack light—because Jason Voorhees is back from the dead (again), and this time he’s stalking his way into Halloween Horror Nights with an all-new haunted house: Jason Universe. And y’all, it’s going to be bloody brilliant.

Starting August 29 at Universal Orlando and September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood, HHN is resurrecting one of horror’s most iconic slashers for what sounds like a no-mercy, full-throttle tribute to Camp Crystal Lake’s most infamous resident.

We’re talking 45 years of cinematic carnage getting the haunted house treatment—from Jason’s dingy, creaky cabin in the woods to the eerie, fog-drenched forests and that rotting old main lodge you definitely don’t want to hide in. Expect a full-on massacre tour featuring some of Jason’s greatest (read: most horrifying) hits. If you thought you were safe just because it’s been a while since the last Friday the 13th reboot… think again.

And yes, this is brand-new, not a repeat of any past HHN walkthroughs. “Jason Universe” is being cooked up fresh by the twisted creatives behind the event, meaning we’re getting an original take on Jason that’s bound to deliver some wicked nostalgia and plenty of new jump scares.

Want in? Tickets are on sale now for both coasts. At Universal Orlando, HHN runs 48 nights from August 29–November 2, and you’ve got all the usual goodies: 10 haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, and more. You can go big with the R.I.P.
