La la la la la laaaa… The SMURFS are back for an all-new adventure from Paramount Pictures this summer and Rihanna is leading the star-studded cast as Smurfette with new music in tow. Fans can pre-save the SMURFS soundtrack now to gain access to the new single “Higher Love” by Desi Trill featuring DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Natania and Subhi.

When SMURFS hits theaters on July 18, 2025, we’ll be reintroduced to the little blue creatures created by Peyo first in 1958. You may already know them from their smash hit 1980’s cartoon or their several film adaptations since. Check out the trailer… it features something not heard in recent movie trailers: A VOICE OVER! John Goodman as the white-bearded Papa Smurf finds himself kidnapped by SMURFS big baddie Gargamel in this latest installment. We also meet Razamel. If you are surprised to learn that Gargamel has a relative, you might be even more surprised to learn that Papa Smurf has a red-bearded brother played by Nick Offerman!

The Smurfs find themselves on an adventure through Paris trying to rescue Papa. In the trailer you might spot a new Smurf named “Influencer” and old favorites like Grouchy.

The cast is stacked with the aforementioned Rihanna, John Goodman, and Nick Offerman plus James Corden, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Erskine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña and Kurt Russell.
